Mount Hermon Intro
Mount Hermon is just 3 miles from downtown Ashland, VA and Randolph Macon College. It was a student from Randolph Macon that inspired the community to build Mount Hermon in 1888.

Though Mount Hermon has moved into modern times, Mount Hermon’s congregation of today has not forgotten all the souls that have passed down the traditions of Mount Hermon, which have embodied the Church since its inception. That tradition? It’s a very simple paradigm, A SANCTUARY TO GLORIFY GOD! That’s it, nothing else.

Mount Hermon has certainly evolved over the last century, that evolution however, was only made possible by the Righteous people that have supported Mount Hermon since Ausbury Christian, gave the Dedication Service in 1888.
First Sundays of each month is Fellowship, We invite you to join us in Worship and our Monthly Fellowship luncheon on July 6th, following our Service. For GREAT food and lively conversation at the Brickoven Bistro. We would love to meet you!!

Mount Hermon is self governed by its members; the members work together in planning events, directing the community outreach program and organizing benefit dinners to name a few. Come help us grow and shape Mount Hermon to be part of our community for another 136 Years!!
